I'm the girl that went from circus performer to MBA graduate. I love the beach, iced coffee, Mexican food, a tequila cocktail, horses, and slow mornings. My goal? To help others find their version of success and stop living for someone else's.

You know those weeks where it feels like you’re doing everything and still not getting enough done? That’s usually when perfectionism sneaks in — and it’s one of the biggest momentum killers in business and in life.
This week on the podcast, I kicked off a new series called Midweek Motivation — short, 10-minute episodes designed to help you refocus, re-energize, and keep moving forward when the week starts to feel heavy.
And I thought this first one was the perfect place to start: progress over perfection.
When I first started building my business, I wanted everything to be perfect — the logo, the branding, the systems, the strategy. I told myself I was just being “prepared,” but the truth was, I was stuck in a loop of fixing instead of doing.
Then one day, I decided to hit publish on something that wasn’t “ready.” I cringed a little, sure — but something incredible happened: it worked.
People connected. Momentum started building. And most importantly, I stopped waiting for the perfect time and started creating my own.
That moment changed everything. I learned that messy action isn’t sloppy — it’s movement. And movement builds clarity, confidence, and results.
Perfectionism often looks like “high standards,” but it’s really just fear — fear of being seen before you’re ready, fear of making mistakes, fear of not being good enough yet.
But the only way to actually get better is by doing. Over and over again. Imperfectly.
So if you’ve been waiting for the right time, the right plan, or the right words… this is your sign: just start. The magic is in the doing.
Here are three simple ways to get unstuck and build momentum — even in the middle of a busy week:
You don’t need a perfect plan to make progress — you just need to move.
If you’re in that midweek slump, remember: the goal isn’t perfection. It’s momentum.
And momentum starts the moment you give yourself permission to take imperfect action.
Because messy action beats perfect hesitation every single time.
