I'm the girl that went from circus performer to MBA graduate. I love the beach, iced coffee, Mexican food, a tequila cocktail, horses, and slow mornings. My goal? To help others find their version of success and stop living for someone else's.
Christmas break was a ton of fun—relaxing, stressful, and full of family time. We stayed home for the two-week break. No big vacations, but we hit up the trampoline park and spent time with friends and family. Honestly, very little work got done, but I’m not mad about it. It was a much-needed reset.
By the end of the break, though, I started craving routine. I missed waking up early, getting the kids off to school, and having meals at normal times. During break, it was a free-for-all. Steaks at 3 p.m.? Tacos at 9 p.m.? Sure. At one point, I looked at the girls and asked, “How long have you been wearing those clothes? Let’s take a bath.”
But one thing I struggle with is figuring out where to start. I get overwhelmed easily and often feel like I’m spinning my wheels. Do you ever feel this way? Like you can “clean” for hours, and it looks like nothing got done? For example, I’ll start putting clothes away, realize the drawers are full, so I start cleaning them out. Then, the kids get hungry, so I stop to make lunch, only to discover the dishwasher needs emptying. It’s an endless loop.
On Monday night, I brain-dumped my massive to-do list to Robby. Not sure if he had “listen to Tiffany’s brain dump” on his bingo card for the night, but he got it anyway. After listening, he suggested I start with cleaning my desk and workspace.
Our “office” is an extra little room at the front of our bedroom. It’s great to have the space, but over the holidays, it became a dumping ground for everything: donation boxes, Christmas presents, mail, papers, photos…you name it. So, I took his advice and started there. Cleaning it gave me such clarity—it’s amazing how having a functional space helps you think about what’s next.
I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want for 2025. At first, I felt like I needed some big revelation. But then I realized I don’t need to reinvent the wheel. I just want more of what worked last year.
Here’s what worked:
I don’t need to change—I want to amplify.
Amplify means increasing intensity, impact, or reach. It’s not about speed but about making what’s already working bigger and more effective.
Maybe last year was tough for you. Maybe you need to make big changes. But maybe you don’t. Sometimes, it’s about small tweaks or doubling down on what’s already working. It’s not always about doing more or being busy. I don’t want to wear busy like a badge of honor. When did we decide that being busy was a good thing? I want white space on my calendar. I want days where we do nothing except enjoy our home and try a new recipe.
Remember that whether you are setting goals, finding a word of the year to guide you, or working on intentions, this is for you! You don’t have to feel bad for having a good year, and you don’t have to shy away from venting about the negative if you need to. It’s your story, and you get to tell it and make the changes. No one else can do that for you. Someone else’s story isn’t yours.
Take some time and really think about what you want. Turn off notifications and use your “Do Not Disturb” setting. I use Remarkable, which is an electronic writing pad, and I absolutely love it. It keeps all of my notes, journals, and information organized. I can tag it and even see what I was writing last year. When I got it, so many people asked why I didn’t just get an iPad, but I love that it keeps everything in one place without all the extras. I still use my Notes app on my iPhone, but Remarkable helps me stay focused and on task without the temptation to move into another app.
Minimizing distractions is a must for me. Otherwise, I’ll get pulled into another app and doom-scroll for way too long. Staying intentional with my time is something I’m continually working on.

2025 isn’t about becoming a new me—it’s about amplifying the things that make me feel fulfilled. What’s working in your life that you can amplify? And what’s not serving you that you can leave behind? Let’s make this a year of intentional growth—not by chasing busy, but by focusing on what truly matters.
